Javelin Throw

Javelin Throw

The javelin throw is a track and field event in which an athlete hurls a long, spear-like implement called a javelin as far as possible. The athlete runs within a specified runway to build momentum before launching the javelin with one arm, aiming for maximum distance. The throw is measured from the point where the javelin first lands, and the winner is determined by the longest valid throw. The event combines speed, technique, and upper body strength.
